Sorry for being so tardy lately, I'll try and make up for it today.
Well, my new WC is finally here!!: she rides great but the tray isn't in yet.
I can also report that both family dramas are over, final settlements have been reached in both disputes.
I'm hoping for a healthy and progress filled New Year!

The tree is fully trimmed, the lights are all up out front.
All that's left to do is put a garland on the front door and buy the fish for the gravlax.

Not much going on, finals start next week.
We've got a ice storm rolling in this weekend, it's going to be NASTY!
There will never be another Mandela, may the rainbow nation he helped give birth to carry on into the ages.
The world seems smaller when it loses a giant, doesn't it?

T-Day Post Mortem

Hey World
Everything went off without a hitch, Turkey came out perfect!!
The cornbread dressing was astounding.
All other sides worked flawlessly.
I want to stress that make ahead is KEY for dinnertime success.
That's about it for now.

T Day prep

Hey World
The bird is in the brine, the cranberry compote is done and the pie filling will be done before bed.
All that remains is the dressing, the spuds and the gravy.
I think I have a foolproof plan for dinner tomorrow.

Victory!!!

Well folks, the new WC is finally on order!!
The feeling of relief now that this process is over is surreal.
Final fitting will be in 4 to 5 weeks,can't wait!!
In other news, it's t-minus 7 days to Thanksgiving, looking forward to leftovers.

Snow in November?

I'm just plumb not ready for snow this time of year, the mental aspect of it before the x-mas decorations are up is what gets me.
It's gotten cold here lately,lots of wind.

Viewpoints

Today I want to talk about what it means to see beauty, the treelines up here are so stunning with their reds, golds, heathers and other colours that it is something to behold.
Other than that, it's been a busy week with exams,meetings and whatnot.

What does it mean to reach the end of something?, I think it means you simply close that chapter of your life and move on!!
Still waiting on new WC, it might be here by the end of next month.

I don't quite know why I'm down this week, maybe everything is just bugging me lately.
The woman I care about is far from me, and I miss her greatly.
My family is insane, my blood rels all appear to dislike or misunderstand me .
I'll find a way thourgh this , I hate being blue.

My Week

This week has been a bit of a slog, with meetings galore and all kinds of outside of class stuff.
Midterm break starts next week, midterms begin the week after that.

Today's post is all about being wired, and why the tech we rely on fails.
For example, a data collection system I use is asking me to resubmit EVERYTHING I've ever uploaded!!
Thank God Iphones mostly work.

Boots Etc.

Today I'd like to pose the question, why do things that are meant to last wear out?
I'm going to spend most of Tuesday morning having my orthodics reshaped, these Goddamm boots were meant to last 5 to 7 YEARS .
 They've made it 10 months .
Other then that, I got nothing.

I'm blogging!!

I've started this blog as a way to communicate my unique perspective On life from my wheelchair , I live a pretty normal life outside of the fact that I have difficulty walking I'm pretty much your normal 19 year old.
I plan on using this blog To share my viewpoints on pretty much anything politics, sports, the arts current events and anything else that happens to cross my mind.
I hope to add my unique perspective to our already fascinating online world.
